When I took my first look at The Ultimate House
Training Guide ebook,
by Scoop Olliver, I thought, "It's too long. Why would anyone want to
read 126 pages on how to house train -- or potty train or housebreak
-- whatever you want to call it?"
But
as soon as I looked the ebook over, I appreciated what Olliver had
done. Now I am a big fan of this ebook. Of the several that I have
read on house training, I think this one really stands out.
The Ultimate House Training Guide tells
you how to use two main methods of housetraining puppies and
adult dogs: the direct method and the paper training
method. Some of
the material is repeated in the two sections, which is very convenient
once you choose a method, and of course he tells you how to decide
on your method. (For the direct method, the material is divided into
a puppy section and an adult dog section too. Very handy.)
Olliver has been training dogs for some 12 years, and for this ebook
he draws on the experiences of his friends and colleagues as well. That's
a lot of trips to the back yard!
The Ultimate House Training Guide covers
much more than just the basics of house training:
-
Many people will appreciate the house training tips for busy owners.
-
There are ten pages on crate training,
provide you with a good introduction to that subject.
-
Other tools and products are explained: dog potties, dog
litter boxes, toilet training pads, deodorizers, etc.
-
A useful section on behavior problems includes urination due to
submission or over-excitement, cold weather problems, and more.
-
The health-related problems section covers birth-related conditions
and diseases than can affect house training.
-
Other problems, top ten tips for housetraining, and a glossary
round out the ebook. (It doesn't need an index -- that's a great
thing about ebooks, you can just search the ebook using Control-F
or the Mac equivalent.)
-
Plus it comes with a money-back guarantee AND an email consultation
should you need one!

Rosana's Ramblings: I really liked this ebook.
I've house trained quite a few dogs and helped other people with theirs,
and I found The Ultimate House Training Guide to
be the best guide I've seen. Nit-picky as I am, the only thing I could
disagree with was so insignificant I'm not going to bother mentioning
it. And I learned several things, such as a reason to start your puppy
on high quality dog food which had never occurred to me. |
Click on the title, The Ultimate
House Training Guide, to go directly
to a webpage about it, and you can order from there if you wish.
Or you can get it as part of a downloadable package
called Sit
Stay Fetch. My review
of Sit Stay Fetch is here -- in
a nutshell, I think it's an excellent package for people who are
of the school of thought that you have to be the boss relative to
your dog. Here's a link directly to the
Sit Stay Fetch information page.
