image I got an email a while back from Mark Schuette of http://www.dogpoweredscooter.com/ telling me about his work in creating a dog powered trike. He describes it as a safe way to road work your dog or dogs. Says it has total stability and gives the rider precision steering control with great braking.

The rider can help by pedaling, and he comments that this is the first time that anyone has put the animals that are pulling BEHIND the steering wheel, which makes it easier to control by far.

I’m a bit of a nut about safety, and there are precautions you have to take; he has a page about safety with his dog-powered vehicle. He’s got some links up to videos too.
