I happened to discover dog trainer Emily Larlham recently, and I’m very impressed with this prolific, internationally known young woman who works with positive methods, I love it that she has dozens of free dog training videos on Youtube. So here I will provide you with several links to her online work.

I came across her writings when I noticed her blog post on whether dog collars can be harmful, which I blogged about myself recently. Then I started looking around and found that she advocates something she calls Progressive Reinforcement Training and you likely know as positive dog training or another such term. It’s an interesting page.

That page is on her website Dogmantics.com, and I think it’s telling that I learned more about her from her page about her dogs than I did from her page about her!

Her Youtube page is http://www.youtube.com/kikopup and it has over a hundred videos.  Very useful and enjoyable!

It’s great fun to discover dog trainers I know little or nothing about, and finding Emily Larlham was the first time in ages that I’ve had this treat. (Treat? Oh, guess I better sit if I want a treat!)
