Dogs are incredibly skilled at reading our body language, but our spoken language is quite another story. That’s the premise of an award-winning essay called A Canine Jabberwocky, written by Marci Haw. She is this year’s First Place Winner of the Dogwise John Fisher Essay Scholarship, and you can read her thoughts at the link. The award is an annual one.
I don’t agree with her totally, but I found it interesting reading on how dogs think and perceive. I certainly agree with her emphasis on how visual dogs are.
